The aim of coaching on the trade fair stand is
- To identify the sales staff's development potential under practical conditions and to increase confidence about dealing with visitors immediately by means of individual feedback, eliminating any blocka-ges that still exist.
Procedure.
- The coach accompanies the stand personnel on the trade fair stand for an agreed period of time and is available to the staff there as a resource and to answer questions.
- The coach observes the conversations and then gives the salesperson feedback afterwards by pointing out specific strengths and weaknesses. The salesperson receives clear instructions about how he or she can turn weaknesses into strengths in the next conversation.
- The day at the trade fair is rounded off by a meeting at which everything is summarised and assessed again together. Goals for the rest of the trade fair are also agreed and are reviewed with the trade fair manager and the coach after the fair is over.
